With Wax'o Paradiso
An out-of-this-world party machine, Confidence Man are the dance-pop “enfants terrible” who have to be seen to be believed. The campy and clever Janet Planet and Sugar Bones serve as your dancefloor tour guides, leading you through a barrage of heat-seeking hi-NRG disco missiles backed up by their enigmatic band of Clarence McGuffie and Reggie Goodchild. Confidence Man’s winking and kitschy approach has won over crowds at festivals such as Glastonbury, Groovin The Moo, Primavera, Splendour in the Grass and Golden Plains, and Zoo Twilights is next on the agenda. Let loose and lose your cool.
“With infinite energy, contagious tunes, and a multitude of costumes that literally lit up the stage, Sugar Bones and Janet Planet lead the charge from a new wave in performance pop.” – The Music
Wax’o Paradiso’s Ken Done-drenched Australian psychedelia raises the curtain on Twilights 2020 and sets the scene for a night of disco splendour to follow. They’ve popped up in floating rooftop gardens, luscious convents, shipping containers, train yards and supernatural amphitheatres and they’ll soundtrack Twilights’ opening night with their signature groove.
\All proceeds help Zoos Victoria save the critically endangered Mountain Pygmy-possum from extinction.
